hello loves,jodi here. i have chosen some really rad ladies to be in our wedding..i'm so happy to have them be a part of this! first off, i have three maid of honors, yes three :) they'll be splitting their maid of honor duties :)

i wanted to do something special to ask the girls to be in my wedding, so i cooked tacos..we watched mamma mia..giggled..danced..& they all said yes! i'm one happy lady :)

Our Story

I don't really know where to start our story because it's so long! I'll pick it up where things really started to get interesting. It was my 8th grade year and i had liked her for two years prior to this but this year was really my first chance to get her. I would like to make everyone think that i had this really elaborate plan but the fact of the matter is that i got her because i was kind, pretty funny and a kick butt basketball player. She'd probably deny that but every cheerleader is attracted to a good looking sport's star. (and yes everyone Jodi was a cheerleader) But anyways January 19, 2007 (i think it was at least) was a very important day in our development into a relationship. Jodi and I had hung out before in a group and stuff and this night started out no different than any other night we hung out. We all went to eat at la costa and after we went to a park in fairfield. It was extremely cold that night which worked to my advantage! We got out of the car and walked around some and before we left Jodi was saying how cold it was...so this was my first opportunity to transform into Charm Man! I simply took off my jacket put it around her and held her as we walked back to the car. When we got back in the car we were sitting beside each other and i had my arms crossed and so did she...our hands slowly got closer until they held each other...as soon as that happened i was on cloud 9! I was sort of holding hands with the girl of my dreams...it's safe to say i was feeling pretty studly at this time...the ride home felt like it took 2 minutes and in reality it was more like 20 minutes...i really just didn't want that night to end...but sadly it had to...so when i got home I hugged her and that was it...for that night...i knew things between us wouldn't be the same for very long and i was right...about a week later i had a basketball game and i told nathalie who was my relationship consultant at the time that if i scored 25 or more points that i was gonna ask jodi to be my girlfriend. Low and behold i scored 26 points! But i kind of chickened out of the rest of the deal and didn't ask her...i had the worst feeling in my stomach after not asking her that night. So about another week went by and i had another opportunity and this time i wasn't gonna pass this chance up...ironically enough it was after a basketball game and it was a really bad game for me personally...but she rode home with me and laid her head on my shoulder for most of the ride home...i knew this was the right night...we dropped her and eleah off at their car...eleah was driving home and jodi was asleep but i didn't know this...i know it's not the most romantic thing but i had no choice...i sent her a text message that said..."will you go out with me"...my heart was already pounding at this point but it almost jumped right out of my chest because she didn't text me back. I was freaking out...I figured she was freaked out too and that she would never talk to me again...but thankfully the only reason she didn't text back was because she was asleep...the night of February 5th was the best night of my life because jodi said yes and it was night that led up to where we are now. So this is our crazy love story and i wouldn't change it for nothing. I love you Jodi and i'm so stoked to see what God has in store for our lives together!
